Business Outlook
Pros
Department staff are very helpful in showing me around and answering questions. Supervising Dean has watched me teach several times over the last three years and gives great feedback. Able to do most teaching online with some hours on campus, ideal for balancing with day job while also getting to meet and work with students directly
Cons
As a part-timer, there's limited opportunities to actually work with and learn from other faculty. I end up being asked by the students for career and transfer advice and I often don't know the answers as I'm not as connected to the rest of the college
