Pros

If you had asked me before Oct 17, the people and the perks. It made a boring (yet stressful) job with not the greatest pay manageable.

Cons

On Oct 17, 58 people were laid off. I was one of them. This was a few months after I had received a raise and praise from my supervisor. I was told to meet with the CTO and the woman from HR who coolly informed me of their decision. I had worked here for 3 years. Worked hard too. And I was given 30 minutes to exit the building. My supervisor had no say in this. Apparently neither did the supervisor's supervisor. I learned after that, while the people who stayed were still in shock, many perks were taken away. So not only do the people who were not laid off now have to shoulder the work of their teammates, now they don't even get the good stuff anymore. Good job Edmunds.

Pros

My experience here has been exceptional. The company offers a fantastic work-life balance, a supportive culture, and generous perks, all within a fully remote setup. The team is genuinely caring, and I've found ample opportunities for growth thanks to the ability to rotate teams. I initially planned to stay for a copule years before moving to a big tech company, but I've been so impressed that I've been here for many years and plan to stay longer.

Cons

Since the company operates on a nearly full-remote model, there are fewer opportunities for in-person socialization; however, the option to work from the office is always available for those who want to connect with colleagues. While the compensation is competitive and by no means low, it is important to note that it is less than what's offered by major tech companies, and no stock options are included as part of the compensation package.
