Pros

Edmunds has had a Result-Only Work Environment for several years now. This means that you must be getting results - making progress towards your goals - to succeed. But where you work is up to you, and no one expects you to be online more than 10 hours per day. This allows everyone to have work/life balance. It also means that raises and promotions are merit-based, and we have many women and people of color in executive roles.

Cons

Office is based on Santa Monica, which is very expensive. However upper management is rethinking how many days we'll need to be in the office next year, and it sounds like it will only be a couple days per week.

Pros

My experience here has been exceptional. The company offers a fantastic work-life balance, a supportive culture, and generous perks, all within a fully remote setup. The team is genuinely caring, and I've found ample opportunities for growth thanks to the ability to rotate teams. I initially planned to stay for a copule years before moving to a big tech company, but I've been so impressed that I've been here for many years and plan to stay longer.

Cons

Since the company operates on a nearly full-remote model, there are fewer opportunities for in-person socialization; however, the option to work from the office is always available for those who want to connect with colleagues. While the compensation is competitive and by no means low, it is important to note that it is less than what's offered by major tech companies, and no stock options are included as part of the compensation package.
