Pros
There are some very nice people working there, mainly at the administrative/support level, who strive to create a collegial atmosphere despite managerial neglect. Reasonable hours, not a lot of pressure to work late.
Cons
This company was cobbled together about five years ago from several smaller companies by a private equity firm. It has lacked a sensible strategy from the beginning and has near constant turnover as it struggles to figure out how to make money in the changing higher ed market. It uses silly parties and free snacks to try to boost the very low morale, while continuing to deny most employees monetary and professional recognition.
