Pros

The product platform is acceptable but nothing stellar.

Cons

This firm is mired in sales methods that were popular in 1952, namely door-to-door hawking, complete with hawker's license. Prospective clients generally resent having their privacy invaded by a salesman and this approach offends more prospects than it attracts. The company insists on twenty-five knee-to-knee contacts daily, a requirement that means four to six hours of residential tramping each day. The company prefers neophyte advisers to trained and experienced professionals. They take advantage of the uninitiated.

Pros

They have allowed the HBA’s (home based associates) to remain remote

Cons

Micromanagers, they say they are okay if you want to apply to another department within the firm but the minute you do it’s like you get a target on your back. The pay doesn’t match the workload and the word is that you have to quit and then come back to make what you should already be getting paid. Benefits are terrible but 401k is pretty good
