Pros

At Edward Jones, you really feel like you're an important piece of the company. The leaders and partners are always willing to give advice and offer mentoring, no matter what position you hold within the company. They offer many different programs to help you grow personally and professionally, including excel classes, Toast Masters, volunteer opportunities, ect. They offer a fair compensation with the option of quarterly bonuses or even becoming a limited partner of the company. There's a reason why this company has been ranked on Forbes Best Places to Work several years in a row.

Cons

I honestly can't come up with any cons to working at Edward Jones. Maybe the location of the HQ. The reason I left EDJ was because of it's location. If they had a Chicago or really any other large city location (not including branch offices), I would absolutely still be working for them.

Pros

They have allowed the HBA’s (home based associates) to remain remote

Cons

Micromanagers, they say they are okay if you want to apply to another department within the firm but the minute you do it’s like you get a target on your back. The pay doesn’t match the workload and the word is that you have to quit and then come back to make what you should already be getting paid. Benefits are terrible but 401k is pretty good
