Pros

Good support from home office, great training program with paid licensing, no financial background needed, great profit sharing plan, great heatlh insurance, and a solid base salary.

Cons

Tough place to work for any young person unless you are working in your hometown where you have a strong support group and a strong family name backing your business, meeting people at their doorstep is coming to someone's private residence without an invitation, generally people don't take too kindly to your advances or solicitation, in today's world people are thinking scam scam scam which leads you to cold call and build around your first clients willing to invest, a very challenging and slow way to build a network where strong competition exists, the market most places is over saturated with FA's and many of them give poor advice but they have your prospect's trust which you must win over by nagging the crap out of them and listening to all of their problems, stories, and insane misconceptions until they finally think you deserve a second of their time.

Pros

They have allowed the HBA’s (home based associates) to remain remote

Cons

Micromanagers, they say they are okay if you want to apply to another department within the firm but the minute you do it’s like you get a target on your back. The pay doesn’t match the workload and the word is that you have to quit and then come back to make what you should already be getting paid. Benefits are terrible but 401k is pretty good
