Pros

I have flexible works hours and can telecommute a day or two each week. This helps tremendously with work/life balance.

Cons

The pay is not very competitive and the benefits are not that great, either, especially the healthcare benefits. All of the serious money is made by the financial advisors and the general partners of the firm. Everyone else makes peanuts in comparison. The home office associates are barely acknowledged, or if they are, the recognition just goes to management and not the people actually doing the work.

Pros

They have allowed the HBA’s (home based associates) to remain remote

Cons

Micromanagers, they say they are okay if you want to apply to another department within the firm but the minute you do it’s like you get a target on your back. The pay doesn’t match the workload and the word is that you have to quit and then come back to make what you should already be getting paid. Benefits are terrible but 401k is pretty good
