Pros

Seems to be more pros if you are a financial advisor. There is more focus on branch teams, home office (HQ) is an afterthought. Many accolades (Best Places to Work, Glassdoor Review, etc.) come from branch teams which offsets bad reviews from home office employees.

Cons

Technology - assigned laptops are extremely large and outdated. Most employees purchase their own personal laptops to get work done. Other office technology is also outdated - think fax machines instead of scanners, printing presentations instead of monitors, etc. Benefits - low 401k match, high deductible medical with no prescription coverage, poor PTO policy Dress code - business professional

Pros

They have allowed the HBA’s (home based associates) to remain remote

Cons

Micromanagers, they say they are okay if you want to apply to another department within the firm but the minute you do it’s like you get a target on your back. The pay doesn’t match the workload and the word is that you have to quit and then come back to make what you should already be getting paid. Benefits are terrible but 401k is pretty good
