Pros

Lots of resources and help from home office. Two-person office setup with an emphasis on defined roles and teamwork. Flexibility.

Cons

The majority of the work falls onto the admin. The advisor is trained to turn over all administrative work to the BOA. Which would be fine if the pay reflected the amount of responsibility we have. Unfortunately, it doesn't and the vacation time is not great. So unless you have an FA who watches out for you, you can get taken advantage of. There's also no real advancement unless you are interested in getting your licenses and becoming an FA.

Pros

They have allowed the HBA’s (home based associates) to remain remote

Cons

Micromanagers, they say they are okay if you want to apply to another department within the firm but the minute you do it’s like you get a target on your back. The pay doesn’t match the workload and the word is that you have to quit and then come back to make what you should already be getting paid. Benefits are terrible but 401k is pretty good
