Pros

Their CRM and other internal systems are simple to use and designed for people with little to no experience in the industry. One of the easiest financial services systems I’ve ever used. And you can work up to tuning your own office and have a job that feels almost like you’re self employed.

Cons

Cult like culture turned me off to this firm. Unless you use their terminology and antiquated ways of doing business, you are an outcast, despite whatever success you might achieve. You are either in the “club” or you are totally out. And if you’re out, you are way out. My area was filled with close minded people with little actual real world experience in the industry. The average Financial Advisor has just a few years experience in the field. Most Financial Advisors have little to no actual industry knowledge which is a very scary thing. And the leadership encourages yes people rather than free thinkers. It is like working on the show Mad Men. It made me feel like I was back in the 50s with how backwards people were acting.

Pros

They have allowed the HBA’s (home based associates) to remain remote

Cons

Micromanagers, they say they are okay if you want to apply to another department within the firm but the minute you do it’s like you get a target on your back. The pay doesn’t match the workload and the word is that you have to quit and then come back to make what you should already be getting paid. Benefits are terrible but 401k is pretty good
