Pros

Jones is a great place to work, and the possibilities are almost endless in terms of compensation. There are few jobs available which give you the opportunity within the first year to eighteen months of employment to earn a six figure income, a new Jones FA can. Enormous freedoms in terms of time you work, etc. The actual amount of work necessary to do well financially isn't all that much.

Cons

Nearly everybody fails within the first two years of being an FA from the training program, and many quality people who with a bit more support might succeed fail simply because they aren't quite sophisticated enough off the bat to produce substantial commissions and bring in some large accounts.

Pros

They have allowed the HBA’s (home based associates) to remain remote

Cons

Micromanagers, they say they are okay if you want to apply to another department within the firm but the minute you do it’s like you get a target on your back. The pay doesn’t match the workload and the word is that you have to quit and then come back to make what you should already be getting paid. Benefits are terrible but 401k is pretty good
