Pros

Great sales training dor DOOR-TO-DOOR sales Will pay for for 7, 66, insurance Nice name tag to wear as you "pound the pavement"

Cons

Ok---Door Knocking? It just doesn't make any sense. They expect you to get 25 contacts a day (name AND telephone number). Will they tell you is can be done? Sure, but before the crash it was a bull market, you could have done anything back then. They do not give you support for anything other than door knocking, to which they only send you some flyers. If you're young, forget it. Imagine being in your early 20s, fresh out of college, and you knock on a 55+ (the market they want you to target) year olds door and ask them about there current investments? HAHAH It's a joke. Hey, if you want to be an FA, go for it, but with a different company..UNLESS, you don't mind knocking 6 days a week for 2yrs....that is what it will take..After that it is supposed to be all down hill..Well most FA's out 2-4yrs are bringing in 50-60 grand a year...is it worth 70hrs a week for 2yrs to get that? Don't be fooled by the people that claim you will make 100,000+ within a few years...it's a different market, and the FA that is doing it in your town already made all the good contacts.. Also, most of the people you'll meet during the week don't work or don't have any $--so you work weekends. Even then, you're looking at an average account of 5-20,000...that's a joke..at that rate, you'll need millions to make any type of money.. Can you get rich doing this? Yes, by TAKING over an office..ALL the people that made it in my region did that. See, it's a numbers game..You're starting class is 15, and they hole the average plays out (3 left by year 3), so what happens to all the others who fail? There hard work goes to someone else. I started new/new...a guy got a goodnight of 20million...he never door knocked and is going fine! It's crazy...people with money wont go for someone knocking on their door asking to buy a bond...PLEASE pick another company..Also, they only give you around 25,000 base salary--they rest....it's up to you...don't be fooled by #'s That goes for any commission job.. Rent comes out every month, regardless if you've found a fool to invest with you or not.

Pros

They have allowed the HBA’s (home based associates) to remain remote

Cons

Micromanagers, they say they are okay if you want to apply to another department within the firm but the minute you do it’s like you get a target on your back. The pay doesn’t match the workload and the word is that you have to quit and then come back to make what you should already be getting paid. Benefits are terrible but 401k is pretty good
