Pros

There is a great support system amongst all branches. It’s a very unusual culture be competing against each other for business yet it feels like one big family. I absolutely love the relationships I’ve built with our clients and many have become friends now.

Cons

Typically 2 person branch offices but leaning towards multiple branches merging into one space and there would be less than a 1:1 ratio of FA to Branch Office Administrators thus saving the company money & FA’s making more profit as well. This would mean even more work load for us BOA’s for same pay! We are currently expected to do much of the work load but the FA’s reap 90% or more of the rewards. FA’s earn trips through the Travel Awards Program & BOA’s get absolutely nothing for helping them achieve this goal. Home Office Is trying really hard to update all of our technology systems and procedures, but there are way too many changes going on at once. Very stressful environment right now trying to keep up with everything.

Pros

They have allowed the HBA’s (home based associates) to remain remote

Cons

Micromanagers, they say they are okay if you want to apply to another department within the firm but the minute you do it’s like you get a target on your back. The pay doesn’t match the workload and the word is that you have to quit and then come back to make what you should already be getting paid. Benefits are terrible but 401k is pretty good
