Pros

Other branch office administrators (client services) are very helpful. If you have a driven boss (Financial Advisor) who knows how to be a good boss, it can be a good experience working for Jones. The firm has made steps with technology to “get with the times.”

Cons

You never know what to expect until you start and find out if you’re going to have a good boss who is committed to their clients or if they will be MIA and make you do everything while they’re out golfing. Home office has departments to call for support in knowledge gaps and system help but there have been a lot of new reps who have been providing false info. This hinders both client experience and employee experience as well.

Pros

They have allowed the HBA’s (home based associates) to remain remote

Cons

Micromanagers, they say they are okay if you want to apply to another department within the firm but the minute you do it’s like you get a target on your back. The pay doesn’t match the workload and the word is that you have to quit and then come back to make what you should already be getting paid. Benefits are terrible but 401k is pretty good
