The firm is undergoing a huge layoff initiative that they've appropriately corporate speak-ified calling it "Enterprise Reimagined" Thousands of folks are losing their jobs just in Corporate (Home Office). It's, of course, ran like a circus with cascades of announcements being made internally to discrete groups but no mass announcements to squash the rumor mill. They desperately needed to cut the fat, but they also have to get effective leaders and they've failed on this second prong.
