Pros
Management is focused on adopting best practices and is willing to spend outside of engineering and sales departments. Egnyte is continuing to take market share from larger competitors even during the pandemic. I have worked at many "start-ups" and never have I seen such detailed goals and objectives, yet alone the okay to spend to make these goals and objectives happen. It is exciting to see the changes consistently happening and I cannot wait to see where Egnyte will be at in the next 5 yrs (hopefully a household name).
Cons
The company has gone from a smaller niche player to focusing on becoming a dominant leader. This has and is happening at a rapid pace, and it is often difficult for personnel that were accustomed to the old ways to support the mind shift.
