Pros

Incredible people within the specialty services (Transaction Advisory Services). Loved the team and the partners within this group.

Cons

Compensation is terrible. Incredibly low compared to peers. I will never forget when we had a firm wide zoom to review the annual company survey. When 60% of respondents said they were unhappy with compensation and they were concerned with career progression, the CEO of the company responded with the following: 1. Everyone thinks they should be paid more. You are all paid just fine. 2. This is not an environment where you should expect to stay your entire career. You should expect to develop a skillset here that will help you in your next position. Management openly does not care about its employees. Hardwork is not rewarded here. Doing the bare minimum and accepting bare minimum comp is the standard. Worst management team I have ever witnessed. There is a reason why Eide Bailly is no longer a top 15 accounting firm. High performers leave this place while low performers stick around for 10 years. its disgusting.

Pros

Good amount of holidays and PTO. Lifestyle spending account and remote work were great.

Cons

In an attempt to get me to leave, little by little, my job duties were taken over by others in the department. Partners let this happen and did nothing to help me. Eventually, they eliminated my role. I documented multiple instances where the work environment was incredibly toxic but no one cared. HR never even contacted me for an exit interview. My experience was that if you did not fit into the boys club you would not succeed. There was a culture of micro-aggressions, cruelty, and badmouthing others when they weren't in the room and excluding anyone who did not fit their views.
