Pros

The culture here is great. The hours at this office are not too bad by public accounting standards, and everyone in the office is very friendly.

Cons

The office is small and tends to focus almost exclusively on Governments and NFP's which is not great if you want to get for profit experience. (this is starting to change though which is nice)

Thank you for providing feedback! I'm pleased to hear you enjoy the culture! Each of our offices focuses on industries and clients that make up that region of the market - so it sounds like you are in a location where government and non profits are more prominent. As we roll out the Firmwide Assurance Scheduling program, you should see more opportunities come your way for other types of client engagements.

Pros

Good amount of holidays and PTO. Lifestyle spending account and remote work were great.

Cons

In an attempt to get me to leave, little by little, my job duties were taken over by others in the department. Partners let this happen and did nothing to help me. Eventually, they eliminated my role. I documented multiple instances where the work environment was incredibly toxic but no one cared. HR never even contacted me for an exit interview. My experience was that if you did not fit into the boys club you would not succeed. There was a culture of micro-aggressions, cruelty, and badmouthing others when they weren't in the room and excluding anyone who did not fit their views.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re glad to hear that aspects like time off, our Lifestyle Spending, and flexibility stood out positively during your time with us. We also recognize the seriousness of the concerns you’ve shared around your experience and workplace environment. These are never experiences we want for our team members, and feedback like this is important as we continue to evaluate how we support our people and strengthen a culture rooted in respect and inclusion. We will look into this. We wish you the best in your next chapter.
