Pros

- Great flexibility outside of busy season - Busy season is less intense than Big 4 (~50-55 hours per week) - Competitive pay - Focus on training/growth (formal and peer-to-peer) - Great benefits: PTO (4 weeks), VTO, (8 hours), sick time, health, vision, dental, life insurance, parental leave, lifestyle benefit ($500 annually, bumps to $800 after several years) - CPA Benefits: Becker, $1500 for exam fees, take exams w/o taking PTO, Bonus when you pass - Amazing office culture

Cons

- busy season (nature of industry) - semi-frequent turnover (also nature of industry) - substantial pressure to hit minimum hours (1800 billable, 2200 total), while also pressuring to meet job time budgets - Few women in management

Support from partners and teammates is something we strive to provide, so it’s meaningful to see that reflected in your experience. Busy season, as you noted, can come with long hours, and we continue looking for ways to better support our teams through those periods while maintaining a positive experience. Thank you for sharing your perspective and for the work you do as part of Eide Bailly!

Pros

Good amount of holidays and PTO. Lifestyle spending account and remote work were great.

Cons

In an attempt to get me to leave, little by little, my job duties were taken over by others in the department. Partners let this happen and did nothing to help me. Eventually, they eliminated my role. I documented multiple instances where the work environment was incredibly toxic but no one cared. HR never even contacted me for an exit interview. My experience was that if you did not fit into the boys club you would not succeed. There was a culture of micro-aggressions, cruelty, and badmouthing others when they weren't in the room and excluding anyone who did not fit their views.
