Pros

Lunch/Dinner perks Nice culture and many smart people but there are also your fair share of rude managers who take out their anger on staff regularly in busy season. Good interactions with the other staff/seniors though

Cons

Resources are managed poorly and resource management is not helpful and actually cause more conflicts than resolving the issues. They expect you to do the admin and fill out your whole schedule every week on top of your workload and while they press the approve button and will constantly try to push more on you. They stretch people too thin and response to everything is that we hire in india. Staff/Seniors are constantly overbooked and have to deal with the conflict of having to tell managers they cannot get to work because resource management puts them on unrealistic amount stuff for the year. Schedules were still not finalized in late-Feb. This is not the way to be a profitable business, making the best use of your resources while simultaneously giving your employees the best experience. High turnover. We have like no seniors and the staff are dropping off one by one just like last season. Guess they are not having positive experiences here either. Salary is low compared to the rest of the industry standard and much lower than other industries especially for the workload/hours. They are barely competitive

Pros

An outstanding company culture, employees willing to help the interns to learn new skills, a great location in New York, spaced out office.

Cons

The desk renting system may be slightly confusing, two different apps needed to get into office.

Pros

I've been with the firm for 6 years, starting at the associate level, and some of the most foundational moments of my career have happened here. The culture is genuinely a go-getter one — from staff to partner, people show up with real guidance, not gatekeeping. As a Black woman now in a management role here, I can speak to this directly: performance is what gets rewarded, full stop. I've asked for what I felt I'd earned and gotten it. Leadership has shown up for me in ways that go beyond the job — present for milestone moments in my life, invested in me as a person, not just a line on a chart. If you're willing to put in the work, this firm will invest right back.

Cons

Tax season hours can run long — that's pretty typical for this industry, but it's worth knowing what you're walking into. The pace and accountability here push you to grow fast— if you're looking for something more hands-off, this might not be the right fit.
