Pros

Learned a wide variety of skills by having to take on multiple roles and responsibilities. Gained deep experience in compliance, client relations, and crisis management. Built resilience and strong multitasking abilities due to the fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Opportunity to make a difference for clients in need, despite the systemic issues.

Cons

Chronic understaffing leads to burnout and high turnover. Upper management is disconnected and does not listen to employee feedback. Overworked and severely underpaid compared to industry standards. High call volume from unhappy clients, with little support from leadership. Management consistently avoids accountability and shifts blame onto staff. Employees pressured into signing corrective action plans instead of being offered support or solutions.

Pros

Field staff is good, especially the home health aides. Most of the nurses as well. Medical Directors are thorough.

Cons

Local management is poor. Bad communication, short staffed, take patients that live alone in bad situations with no plan for future care. Disasters waiting to happen. Employee well being is poor. No recognition for things you right or patient/ satisfaction. Nurses don’t get adequate time with patients. I
