      Pros

      Flexible but than again flexibility working for a home care company are a dime a dozen

      Cons

      I WAS proud to say I work for Great Lakes Caring. No longer the case, the merge to now Elara Caring is a shame and I refer to as a hostile takeover!! Profit Profit Profit is all I can say. Read all the other negative reviews, you will get my drift!!

      Pros

      Field staff is good, especially the home health aides. Most of the nurses as well. Medical Directors are thorough.

      Cons

      Local management is poor. Bad communication, short staffed, take patients that live alone in bad situations with no plan for future care. Disasters waiting to happen. Employee well being is poor. No recognition for things you right or patient/ satisfaction. Nurses don’t get adequate time with patients. I
