Pros

Fairly good work/life balance Nice office

Cons

Management does not allow nurses to see patients as often as they need, yet complain about rehospitalization rates. No room for promotion. One or two meager raises over the years before they tell you you're "topped" out on salary. No bereavement pay or sick days. You're required to take PTO. You're also only allowed to roll over 40 hours of PTO. If you don't use it, it's gone. Insurance is insanely expensive - over $200/month for one person. If someone quits, others are required to absorb their workflow without additional compensation. I am currently performing the work of 3 positions while still being paid the same I was when I was only doing my own workflow.

Pros

Field staff is good, especially the home health aides. Most of the nurses as well. Medical Directors are thorough.

Cons

Local management is poor. Bad communication, short staffed, take patients that live alone in bad situations with no plan for future care. Disasters waiting to happen. Employee well being is poor. No recognition for things you right or patient/ satisfaction. Nurses don’t get adequate time with patients. I
