Pros

The atmosphere is very laid back and fun, most of the people you interact with are friendly and helpful. Pay starts off pretty good. The policies in place are great for employees- if you have a sudden emergency it is easy to get the day off, hours can be flexible depending on your position, and you get good experience working on something you're passionate about.

Cons

There is a "hierarchy" where RFT employees are valued more than contractors, and there's a palpable feeling where you are looked down upon as a contractor. It's very, very difficult to become a Regular Full Time employee.. unless you become popular with important people. Getting RFT essentially seems to have to do with just knowing the right people at the right time. You can be very skilled in your area and overlooked easily I did not receive any "actual training" when I first started and i did not know that I was not properly trained until my contract was almost over. Hours can be very long (sometimes until 2am) depending on release, but it's expected.
