Pros
I think your experience at EA will really depend on your department. I was lucky enough to be in a relatively laid back department (Pogo) with awesome co-workers, but I get the sense that wasn't the same elsewhere on campus. Everyone on my team worked hard but left at a normal time.
Cons
People did their work, but no one seemed to be especially passionate about what they were doing. Again, maybe this was because of our department - our product was not one of EA's big blockbusters.
