Pros

Being able to work from home and having the autonomy to manage your own schedule is great! Elevance does a great job promoting a good work/life balance for its employees. I am surrounded by amazing people that I can connect with even though we all come from different backgrounds and experiences. Our team is a united front. Benefits such as volunteer days off and 2 wellness days a year are great!

Cons

Since launching Pathways in July of 2025 changes have been constant. The level of training we received during onboarding did not prepare us for what was to come. A lot of my collogues have their own process for completing tasks and some are faster than others. For me, it takes time to look up the answers in Share point. It takes time, waiting for your team to get back to you. My supervisor was hired on only a few months prior to myself. She is constantly busy and at times hard to get ahold of. Also, when I go to ask questions a lot of her responses are vague, or I am told to go to the share point. It is not encouraging when you go to your supervisor for advice, and they don't have the answers or guidance to give. We are all in this fight together, but it is hard not to feel alone and bogged down.

Pros

I’ve enjoyed the work itself and have had the opportunity to build strong experience over the years. The company provides good employee self-service tools and resources, and being part of a large organization offers exposure to complex projects and different teams.

Cons

Growth opportunities can be limited depending on the organization within and management structure. There is room for improvement in operational processes, which can create inefficiencies and increase workloads. At times, organizational challenges feel larger than individual teams can address, making it difficult to see lasting improvements. Recognition for employee contributions can also feel inconsistent, with significant efforts not always being acknowledged.
