Pros

Excellent pay and benefits, prestige, lots of time off, beautiful campus and workplace amenities

Cons

A large chunk of the workforce needs to retire. Management is from the old guard and can be stuck in their ways. I've never worked somewhere so frustrating in my life. I felt undervalued here every day.

Pros

Bonus checks and company stock.

Cons

In the past 10 years things have changed. This year, 2026, departments have started to downsize. Either by natural attrition or silent reallocations with 30-day timelines to find another position. Leaving those of us left behind overworked. Prescription medical insurance changed due to a falling out with CVS and the employees pocket books are the ones suffering. I have never in my 30+ year career seen such poor management, especially in the manufacturing environment. Lilly does not take the time to grow leaders, they put people in charge who do not know how to get the best out of an employee. HR is not there for the employees, they are there to protect the company.
