good benefits and a sense of job security
Cons
Lilly claims to hire the "best and brightest" - and having worked at Lilly for 2 years and having seen many folks come and go I would agree with that statement - however, once you there, Lilly puts the brightest and most experienced talent in a "box" - innovation and challenging the status quo is an absolute "no no" in this culture - unless you are part of the "good old boys club" you won't have a career - this was the worst employer I ever worked for in my 25 years in any professional setting. The absolute worst corporate culture there is - if you want a save job where you can put your brain on cruise control Eli Lilly is the company you want to work for.
