      Purpose (being a part of helping students and colleges/universities succeed), schedule flexibility/work location flexibility, co-workers (smart, friendly, helpful)

      Cons

      Still in the midst of an organizational transformation; if you want a 'status quo' environment, this may not be the place for you; if you want to be a part of enabling higher ed transformation-- this is a great place to work

      Pros

      There are plenty of employees who pour their hearts into this mission.

      Cons

      There’s an acute difference between being an incompatible coworker and a crappy person. Ellucian is led by some people (no names) who need to learn how to be a freaking human. The manipulation, deceit, rage, selfishness, and lack of self awareness were traits exhibited by these folks regularly, if not daily. It’s not hard to choose respect over ego. You can have conviction and not ruin peoples’ weeks at the same time. The sky isn’t falling.
