Pros
Most coworkers are nice, friendly and helpful! I had a great manager and lead that knew what leadership is about, without micromanaging! I did love my job, coworkers and doctors.
Cons
Their website states that they pay $21-$ 31.50 an hour, but is not true. There is a worker there that has been with the company for more than 20 years and she gets paid minimum wage. When someone asks for a raise they always say no, then like a toxic boyfriend when you find another company that is eager to hire you, they want you to stay. When they lose a good worker, they dump all the work to the remaining workers (without extra pay) and take months to hire a new person (no one accepts what they want to pay and saves them money). When they finally find someone, (at this point they are desperate and hire anyone that says yes) everyone is burned out, but they are asked to train the new hire without additional pay. To top it off this new hire that sometimes is untrainable is getting paid more than the old employees. In your annual review you are always rated a 4/5 no matter how much you work for the company. The goal is for you to feel that you need to do more, but honestly is discouraging. If you ask why your rating was not a 5, they respond that only someone like the director of Emanate would get that rating. How are you rating one position based on another that is not related? Higher management likes to micromanage with small things like the color of your sweater or threatening employees that their car would be towed if they park on a parking lot that does not belong to the hospital. They would call you at your desk and ask to move your car. All because they want to park there so they don't get traffic coming out of the hospital parking. They claim the hospital is paying for certain people from higher management to park there.
