Pros
Good pay, has a union to help protect RNs.
Cons
Management doesn't care about retaining experienced nurses. Supposed to be self-schedule but new director will use the excuse of "balancing the schedule" to ignore and put people on days they didn't request. XTO's (excused time off) are not granted even if requested months in advance. Most floors RNs are new grad nurses because Director ran off the experienced nurses. Don't know who were surveyed for Best Place to Work, but it wasn't the nurses.
