Pros

Work-life balance, Working hours and salary on time. Some employees at middle/lower management are good and active. Directors, Hr Director and centre leader is responsive and take immediate actions. Some employees are extraordinary with futuristic skills if you are lucky to work with then it can change your career path.

Cons

Leaving 40-50% Managers and Supervisors every one is good. Huge politics, micromanagement, growth, skill development, salary everything is poor. Many people are working here since more than last 15-20 years they are totally unskilled and only do micromanagement with politics. Bad Attitude is the biggest problem at Emerson weather HR, IT or in many Technical departments. They will not respond to you on teams and many times also on emails.Sometimes you have to keep senior management in CC to get reply from them . Growth is zero, promotion is biased and favoured and given only to best bootlickers. Skills are not appreciated at all if your manager is non technical background. 40% Employees who are working in Emerson will not be even able to get job outside because they have nothing to do or they are working in zero growth / outdated projects since last many Years. Your problems will only be listened by higher management and most important that company will fire you if you are not having project or if you are not profitable for the Organisation but if you are making/bringing huge profits for the company than it will not be appreciated credit goes to Supervisor/Manager. Many hungry/selfish people are here their focus is on their own growth heartless selfish people.Top management Hr, Directors and centre leaders don't know the actual things going with in company things are manipulated by manager's/supervisor in front of them. They will tell any story to Top management and management will think all is well. Literally speaking you can't believe 0.1 % on the words of your managers/supervisors they are liars and will stab on your back during the time of increment/promotions. Conducting saminars on AI, VR ,AR ,ML but 50%-60% people don't know what is AI and Deep learning, What it is doing, How to use it, Libraries used in AI/ML. I think if you ask some manager's and supervisors full form of these words they will not be even able to answer for that. I don't know how employees with get growth, Do innovation working under people with such skills and attitude. One more thing company is charging money for food and bus service also and now they are planning 4 day a week office. Rent is between 26-35K for 2 BHK in Hinjewadi, Wakad and near by areas and salary of almost 60% employees is earning less than 11LPA as per Glassdoor. What you will get in hand after deduction of 2k for bus, daily 75 Rs lunch 30-50 Rs breakfast and then house rent, wifi actually people are working free for the company. Salary and facilities are not as per MNCs.

Pros

Great immediate supervisor and their boss. Made top-down communications tolerable. Great co-workers and great collaboration that lifted the entire team.

Cons

(1) RIF based on tenure, not performance. HR is too powerful a department, and everyone fears it. (2) Tenure made you lazy, killed creativity, initiative, and promoted a "yes" culture. (3) During COVID layoffs, CEO pay went from $3.7 million to $15.x million, while employees endured 25% furloughs for 3 months, and management 10% reduction in pay for 6 months - explain how that is reasonable. (4) CEO declared DEI as the way forward for career mobility, and a lot of young, promising talent walked out the door, including DEI-qualified minorities. (5) I was one of those minorities.
