Cons
- Equipment and technology available to staff are old, janky, and constantly breaking down. The accounting software we use (Jenzabar) is some of the worst software I've ever had the misfortune of working with.
- HR and Payroll teams are a joke. I'm sure they're overworked and underresourced but it takes weeks to get any kind of response from them.
- No flex work arrangements outside of Fridays.
- Positions have stringent professional requirements and low compensation compared to the private sector.
- Communication between departments and stakeholders can be pretty badly lacking.
