Love the mission of the school. The ghost of Emily walks these halls. People work hard here. They love to serve the underserved. If you are mission driven it is great.

Pay is great for entry level positions but somewhat flat after that. Funding is always a challenge

- The people I work with excel at creating a friendly and welcoming environment for students and staff. - Supervisors trust you to do your job and treat you like an adult. - Pension plan! - Remote work Fridays

- Equipment and technology available to staff are old, janky, and constantly breaking down. The accounting software we use (Jenzabar) is some of the worst software I've ever had the misfortune of working with. - HR and Payroll teams are a joke. I'm sure they're overworked and underresourced but it takes weeks to get any kind of response from them. - No flex work arrangements outside of Fridays. - Positions have stringent professional requirements and low compensation compared to the private sector. - Communication between departments and stakeholders can be pretty badly lacking.
