      Pretty good for a grad student - Graduate Research Assistant Emory University Employee Review

      Pros

      I never faced budget struggles in grad school. Always had a roommate and did not park on campus, which helped. My department did not have a heavy teaching load either which was nice.

      Cons

      No retirement benefits but the union is working on several issues.
