Pros

Health insurance/vision/dental. although none of these are free and are only partially covered by Emory. Retirement benefits are OK. Emory matches your contribution up to a percentage.

Cons

Senior leadership at Emory is big on campus culture and community. Most schools/units/divisions require going into the office 3 days/week. They are not willing to budge for anyone and would rather lose valuable employees than allow for full remote work. This is especially frustrating for those whose work do not require being on campus and can be done remotely, often at a higher productivity rate and most definitely a happier state of mind. Parking is not free and comes out of your paycheck. Salary is not competitive to other large companies unless you are a faculty with a PhD or executive director/c-suite level candidate.
