Pros

Standard postdoctoral experience really. Some good people to work for, some bad. Good benefits and Atlanta is very livable on a postdoc salary.

Cons

Top heavy management structure. Highly political. They pay you a year behind the recommended NIH minimum.eg. the 2012 rate when it was 2013. I asked why but never got an answer. Although Emory does put in 6% of your salary to a retirement plan, you're only vested after 2 years. They claw that money back if you leave before that time.
