Pros

Freedom to choose how your day is laid out. People are nice and mean well.

Cons

Absolutely no guidance or training. Will fire everyone over anything. They had a joke about how their "training" mentality is "sink or swim". They will hire you and give you literally 0 training, then just hope you read their minds on what they want and fire you with no warning if you don't. Never provided any useful assistance or guidance to employees. Don't check in or call when they say they will. Extremely inconsistent, things change on a whim so don't expect any kind of schedule or regularity. If you ask for advice or critiques they'll say you're doing great and then talk behind your back saying you're doing terrible. Very catty and gossipy. I now have PTSD from working at this company. Any time the phone rings you should automatically assume you're being fired because you could be at any point with no inkling they're not satisfied with what you've done (because they'll tell you the exact opposite). Majority of the employees are miserable and you'll never see a dime of commission. They burn their bridges with clients, partners and employees alike.

Pros

I work on a variety of projects, so no two days are exactly the same. The team is supportive, making it easy to get help when you need it. Management has clear expectations and gives people enough freedom to handle their daily responsibilities. There are plenty of opportunities to improve your skills and learn more about construction projects. The pay and benefits are competitive, and consistent effort is recognized. It can get quite busy, but the team works well together and the processes in place help keep projects on track.

Cons

Customers who take too long with revisions and delay estimates
