Pros
- There were some really wonderful and knowledgeable people to work with - The product was interesting to troubleshoot, and there were a lot of different products - Learned a lot - Interesting customer base - Work from anywhere - Challeging - could fully use my problem-solving skills
Cons
- There were some wonderful people to work with, but also quite a few condescending co-workers - Lots of negativity and overworked people - Changing managers - The product is complex, the customers are huge and demanding and help is sparse, so you have to go above and beyond to solve issues or you will not accomplish anything. Management has no idea how complex these issues are because they have no hands-on experience with the product, so sometimes when they step in they have no idea what it is about and make suggestions that are not helpful at all. - Many times I've been made to feel stupid asking for help.
