You will probably like working for NCI more than contractor for whom you will work after five years. - Programme Analyst Empower AI Employee Review

Pros

A growing company that is very good at winning contracts for information technology in support of primarily the military Did a great job of encouraging their employees and providing support as far as obtaining degrees and certifications. Will generally support you as an employee in relation to the government customer better than smaller contractors who will pretty much do whatever they think the government wants

Cons

You may not work for NCI if your contract gets moved to a different company. Most contracts get shifted to a new company within five years or so. If NCI wins a recompete it may be as a subcontractor and you might be moved to the new contractor. A lot depends on your local management. If you have a bad local manager it is difficult to address beyond your locale (I was fortunate to have good management) Benefits are average
