Pros

A positive is if you like to be treated like a robot and just a number for the company. This job will be perfect for you!

Cons

Never get a chance to breathe between phone calls. Have to meet certain quotas each year otherwise you get fired. You receive errors on your daily scorecard for no reason even if your resources or your peers tell you incorrect information. Outdated technology that crashes the entire server on a monthly basis.

The front-line service provided by our participant services representatives is incredibly important, and at times, challenging. We encourage associates to discuss concerns regarding their performance/feedback with their managers.

Pros

I like working here, I find the work life balance with this role to be ideal, and remote opportunities are regularly available at the company ever since the pandemic. Unlimited PTO and I don't have feel guilty to use it, team structure really helps when people are out of the office. Receive good salary for my part of the country, with yearly raises and bonus based on merit.

Cons

I don't have many cons, I would say it would depend on your manager, as is the case with most positions in this world. I've had amazing managers with my time here and some mediocre managers, but overall the job has been good enough to weather the storm of a bad boss.

Pros

Responsible Time (which is truly encouraged to be used and is one of the only things keeping people above water at the moment); great coworkers

Cons

Company is growing too big, too fast and employees simply cannot keep up and are burning out. Too many changes at once and employees feel senior leadership does not notice or they simply don’t care. Associates who have been with Empower since the beginning are saying this is not the same Empower they once loved working for.
