Pros

- Good health benefits - Lottery ticket to watch Broncos game

Cons

1. There are tons of managers/team leads/management that were only in this position because they’ve been in the company for awhile, not based on true capability to lead 2. No trainings offered 3. Inefficient methods of bottom-up communication 4. Poor internal communication 5. Toxic work culture 6. Excessive workload and mediocre salary rate

Thank you for your feedback. We encourage all associates to own their career and take advantage of professional development opportunities that include a variety of instructor-led and self-directed trainings, as well as several development opportunities offered by our Business Resource Groups. We regularly seek associate feedback through engagement surveys and open Q&A during town hall meetings. We offer a competitive total rewards package for all associates and encourage growth into other roles to achieve higher compensation. Additionally, we acknowledge workloads in some departments have been higher due to acquisition integration efforts, much of which is coming to completion.

Pros

Responsible Time (which is truly encouraged to be used and is one of the only things keeping people above water at the moment); great coworkers

Cons

Company is growing too big, too fast and employees simply cannot keep up and are burning out. Too many changes at once and employees feel senior leadership does not notice or they simply don’t care. Associates who have been with Empower since the beginning are saying this is not the same Empower they once loved working for.
