Glad to hear the benefits, the mission, and the ability to move around and showcase your work are all landing. Those are deliberate — the medication benefit, the 401k match, and the IV therapy are part of how Empower takes care of its own. And the opportunity to move across the organisation is something we want more people to know about. Your note on communication is consistent with what we are hearing from others, and it matters. When the company is changing fast, people deserve to know what is changing and why — not after the fact, but in real time. We are working on that, starting with more structured internal updates and a town hall cadence designed around transparency. Thank you for this. — Empower Pharmacy

Pros

A few things I'd tell anyone considering Empower: We're AI- and innovation-forward, so things move quickly and actually get done. We're early enough that you get to design the foundation, not inherit someone else's. And the mission is real — everyone supports getting patients access to affordable medicine, and the care for that mission is evident in everything we do. Fast, foundational, mission-driven, and team forward.

Cons

Fast pace and a still-being-built foundation cut both ways: priorities shift quickly, some processes and tools are still maturing, and there's more ambiguity and manual work than at an established company. It's a strong fit if you're energized by building and comfortable with change — a harder one if you want everything structured and settled on day one.

This captures the Empower experience for builders with unusual clarity. The tension you name — between the opportunity to design from scratch and the ambiguity that comes with a still-maturing foundation — is exactly the trade-off we want people to understand before they join. Your advice to management is worth repeating: invest in people as fast as you are growing. That is the challenge and the commitment. The tools, support structures, and development paths have to keep pace with the speed of the business, or the speed breaks people instead of energising them. We hear that. Appreciate the candour — this is the kind of review that helps the right people find us. — Empower Pharmacy
