Pros

I am a training specialist at Empower Pharmacy, and one of the most important reasons I stay is the people and the overall culture within the company. It is always refreshing to see how people genuinely care about each other and the organization they work for. We are continuously building more comprehensive training processes to support our employees, guide them throughout their work journey, and ensure our patients receive high-quality medications in a timely manner. What makes Empower unique, is that it provides employees with the opportunity to innovate and improve processes, so you don’t have to wait for change to happen, you can be the one who makes it happen.

Cons

Constant shifts and changes, so you need to be flexible and open to changes.

Pros

At Empower, you have the opportunity to build a future that is dedicated to providing a healthy future for all. When I think of my grandkids, I know I am doing them and the community around them well by serving at Empower. Empower also takes great care of its employees as it's an employee first company. We love our machines and we love more those who help create and maintain them!

Cons

Commitment & Dedication - This isn't a company for those who are not committed to raising the standard each and every year.

Pros

A few things I'd tell anyone considering Empower: We're AI- and innovation-forward, so things move quickly and actually get done. We're early enough that you get to design the foundation, not inherit someone else's. And the mission is real — everyone supports getting patients access to affordable medicine, and the care for that mission is evident in everything we do. Fast, foundational, mission-driven, and team forward.

Cons

Fast pace and a still-being-built foundation cut both ways: priorities shift quickly, some processes and tools are still maturing, and there's more ambiguity and manual work than at an established company. It's a strong fit if you're energized by building and comfortable with change — a harder one if you want everything structured and settled on day one.
