Pros

Benefits are given. Pay on time. I worked at the tower then, a place and atmosphere was nice lunch could be bought at cafeteria.

Cons

Not a place that practice team work this is from a data entry tech position. I have over 12 years of experience. If an issue or something is wrong instead of fixing it as a group. You have to point fingers as to who did it. I’m trying to say instead of resolving the issue first, in which they have full history of in the database of the computers of who did what, they want to ask everyone why, when etc to put out the tech and then they come to you, then resolve the issue. Issues were often put off and never solved. Solve the issue then later coach the tech. This was done to numerous techs. That’s why it’s not a place to gain experience. The supervisor if they dislike or you know better than him/her, you get put away to another department/assignment without explanation nor they try to come to an agreement. It’s last always last minute changes, surprises. I had to change my desk three times and just gave up on coming to my organized desk. Nice experience, but the term teamwork and fair treatment needs to be taught for the data entry / customer service section. Benefits were not explained clearly, all rushed.

Pros

A few things I'd tell anyone considering Empower: We're AI- and innovation-forward, so things move quickly and actually get done. We're early enough that you get to design the foundation, not inherit someone else's. And the mission is real — everyone supports getting patients access to affordable medicine, and the care for that mission is evident in everything we do. Fast, foundational, mission-driven, and team forward.

Cons

Fast pace and a still-being-built foundation cut both ways: priorities shift quickly, some processes and tools are still maturing, and there's more ambiguity and manual work than at an established company. It's a strong fit if you're energized by building and comfortable with change — a harder one if you want everything structured and settled on day one.

This captures the Empower experience for builders with unusual clarity. The tension you name — between the opportunity to design from scratch and the ambiguity that comes with a still-maturing foundation — is exactly the trade-off we want people to understand before they join. Your advice to management is worth repeating: invest in people as fast as you are growing. That is the challenge and the commitment. The tools, support structures, and development paths have to keep pace with the speed of the business, or the speed breaks people instead of energising them. We hear that. Appreciate the candour — this is the kind of review that helps the right people find us. — Empower Pharmacy
