Pros

Enjoyed working with patients and staff. Have good benefits and always willing to assist.

Cons

Benefits do not kick in day one of employment and you can not participate in a 401k plan until after a year of employment.

Pros

The work is satisfying. Working in ALF is great because it is working in their own home setting.

Cons

You are dependent on the rehab director of the building to help build the caseload, and often times they do not get compensation that motivates them to do that. The area directors do not have a good pulse on what the clinic director is actually doing; it’s not managed well.
