Thank you for taking time to write a review; we value and appreciate your feedback! We’re excited to hear that you’re enjoying our flexible schedule – it’s an important component of a career built for your life! We’re also glad to read that you felt our pay was completive, and paid training was a plus for you. In terms of productivity, EmpowerMe's expectations are among the more reasonable in the industry. Our care model is different from any other therapy company in that we our focus is on how well we serve our residents, not on how many we serve. We want our team members to build great relationships with our residents, first and foremost. We’re listening to learn and appreciate your comments about availability of materials, and other SLPs in the community. Thank you for being here and supporting our mission to improve the lives of seniors — with your help, we are making a difference!

We’re so happy you’re part of our team, and we look forward to continuing to work together to improve the lives of seniors — one day and one resident at time!

Pros

The work is satisfying. Working in ALF is great because it is working in their own home setting.

Cons

You are dependent on the rehab director of the building to help build the caseload, and often times they do not get compensation that motivates them to do that. The area directors do not have a good pulse on what the clinic director is actually doing; it’s not managed well.
