Great ability to help patients in assisted living with thoughtful and longer treatment times, as compared to other settings.
Cons
Heavy push for longer treatment times, "optimal" billing, productivity, and marketing for a new Medicare PCM program. Feel like a marketer and not a PT. Benefits are not good. We use our PTO for Holiday pay. No raises at all.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re happy to read that you're enjoying the autonomy that our care model offers to our therapists. We believe residents and their communities deserve individualized, high-quality care built on relationships, and it sounds like you share the same priorities in that regard that we do!
We’re listening to learn and appreciate your comments about hours, benefits, and merit increases.
Just to speak for a moment about the introduction of our PCM program--we deeply value our therapists' efforts in identifying residents at their communities who require our services. That's always been the case for therapy services, and it's just as true now that we offer care coordination services through PCM and GUIDE. We know there's been a lot of conversation around these new offerings due to the rollout, but we hope you'll come to see that these are just additional tools in your toolbox to help ensure the health and wellbeing of the residents you work with.
Thank you for your continued dedication as we work to improve the lives of seniors every day. With your help, we are making a difference!
Thank you for this delightful review! We’re thrilled that your work environment is supportive! We’re also excited that flexibility, pay rate, and setting are among the top positives about your career with EmpowerMe Wellness! One of our core values is "We Have Fun" — and we’re elated that you’re living it!
Although you may be working independently, we hope you feel the support of the resources available that are just a quick click away – we’re here for you, albeit virtually!
We’re so happy you’re part of our team, and we look forward to continuing to work together to improve the lives of seniors — one day and one resident at time!
The work is satisfying. Working in ALF is great because it is working in their own home setting.
Cons
You are dependent on the rehab director of the building to help build the caseload, and often times they do not get compensation that motivates them to do that. The area directors do not have a good pulse on what the clinic director is actually doing; it’s not managed well.
