Pros

Snacks, Christmas gifts, some good and talented people who work hard every day to satisfy the client. Location of office is easy to get to and from the highway.

Cons

1. Layoffs are way too often and too many let go. Great people are hired and when sales dip the owners quickly get rid of half the office. How about get new sales people; people who actually know and want to sell? 2. Some workers allowed to talk on their cellphones all day on personal calls creates a lot distraction and slows productivity 3. Allow us developers to develop! Stop wanting to have personal conversations all the time as it impacts our quality and speed of work 4. Owners not engaged in the business and allow Sr. management (people who have been with the company a loooong time) to keep making the same mistakes over and over again without consequence 5. Proprietary software limits your ability to expand your programming skills 6. A ton of knowledge hoarding by long-tenured employees 7. Business is run to only protect those who have been there the longest. Coming to work everyday wondering who is the next to get let go is not a good place to be

Pros

The other developers that work here are wonderful people.

Cons

-Work has dried up for the company. -You have a 95% chance to be either working in legacy code systems or working in a low code/no code platform called Decisions that Emprise pitches to companies so they get kickback money due to their partnership deal. -Management has no idea how to run a tech company, overpromising results without even having the projects estimated. -The owners of this company in response to their dwindling work decided that the solution for this was to have employees return to office, rather than putting any effort into fixing their management. -This company can and will lay you off at a moment's notice. -In 2 years of working here, I saw about a dozen developers quit or be laid off, and not a single person hired. -Health insurance is bad and does not cover anything. -Micromanagement, micromanagement, micromanagement. -Tells you their slogan is "Developing Developers". What this actually means, is that when the company has no work, they will let you learn on your own, with no assistance or resources. -Treats long term employees differently than others, not holding them to the same standards.
